The company is expanding its senior engineering team and is seeking a Founding Engineer who can lead complex technical work across multiple systems. The role is intended for engineers who have built and shipped multiple production applications and are comfortable owning architecture, solving difficult technical problems, and working autonomously within small high-performance teams. The Founding Engineer will help shape engineering standards, technical architecture, and delivery processes across major client engagements. Responsibilities Architect and build production-grade software systems Design scalable full-stack applications and distributed systems Develop APIs, backend services, automation platforms, and data pipelines Lead technical architecture for new client platforms and products Review pull requests and maintain engineering quality standards Collaborate with delivery managers, QA engineers, and designers to ship reliable software Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure and application layers Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and system design decisions Mentor other engineers when appropriate Required Experience 8–12+ years professional software engineering experience Experience building and deploying multiple production software systems Strong experience across both frontend and backend development Deep understanding of scalable system architecture Experience working across multiple technology stacks Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and collaboration skills within engineering teams Technical Experience Engineers should be comfortable across modern software stacks including: Frontend React Next.js TypeScript modern frontend frameworks Backend Python Node.js REST APIs distributed services Data PostgreSQL NoSQL databases data pipelines and integrations Infrastructure AWS / GCP / Azure Docker CI/CD pipelines cloud architecture Experience with AI integrations, automation systems, or data infrastructure is a strong plus.
