We help dental groups and DSOs reduce manual work, accelerate cash flow, and scale without proportional hiring. Our systems sit directly in the money path, touching eligibility, claims, payments, denials, and collections. Our product stack includes: DA Platform: Workflow + operational automation for RCM teams DA API: Clean, reliable endpoints that customers and partners build on RCM Automation: Eligibility, claims, ERAs/EOBs, denials, collections AI Layer: Applied AI to reduce human effort, increase throughput, and improve accuracy If you like building systems where correctness matters, automation replaces people-hours, and AI is used to actually move the needle (not demos), this is that role. The Role We’re looking for a hands-on founding engineer who codes daily, ships fast, and owns production. You will build features end-to-end, run releases, and play a key role in embedding AI, code generation, and automation-first thinking across the platform. This role has real influence on architecture, tooling, and how engineering productivity scales. This is not a "design it and hand it off" role. You build it, ship it, monitor it, fix it, and improve it. What You’ll Do Product + Platform Build and ship features end-to-end (UI → APIs → services → database → rollout) Own deployments and releases (staged rollouts, feature flags, monitoring, rollback plans) Build and maintain DA API, including: Endpoint design and versioning Authentication and authorization Rate limits, usage logging, SLAs Clear, practical developer documentation RCM Automation Build RCM workflows including: Eligibility + benefits verification (payer responses, coverage rules, edge cases) Claims lifecycle (submission readiness, status checks, follow-ups) ERA/EOB ingestion and payment posting support (parsing, matching, exception queues) Denials management (reason codes, worklists, routing, analytics) Provider + payer data normalization (NPIs, plan mapping, payer IDs) AI + Productivity (Core Focus) Use AI to reduce manual RCM work, including: Data extraction from messy payer responses and PDFs Classification and routing of denials and exceptions Summarization of claim status, work queues, and account notes Apply AI for engineering productivity, including: Code generation and refactoring Test generation and validation Tooling to speed up feature delivery and integrations Design AI systems that are reliable, observable, and auditable (not black boxes) Decide where AI helps and where deterministic systems are better Integrations + Automation Build reliable integration pipelines (APIs, webhooks, background jobs, queues) Build scraping and automation workflows where APIs are limited (resilient, monitored, restartable) Own failures, retries, and edge cases until systems are boringly reliable Core Requirements Python .NET/C# TypeScript Azure SQL Strong Plus AI/LLMs Code generation and AI-assisted developer workflows API product experience Scraping/automation tooling Healthcare or dental RCM exposure What "Good" Looks Like You ship meaningful product every week Releases become boring and predictable AI meaningfully reduces human effort and cycle time DA API gets easier to integrate every month You fix root causes, not just symptoms Application (Includes a Video Step): Please submit: A 6–8 minute video covering: What you’ve built recently (best shipped work) One system walkthrough (architecture + tradeoffs) Shipping Python + .NET + TypeScript on Azure One automation or integration you owned (scraping welcome) How you use AI for productivity and product reliability What you’d do in your first 30 days at DA Links: GitHub, portfolio, demos, resume/LinkedIn Short written answers: Strongest area (backend, integrations, infra, frontend)? Any RCM or healthcare exposure? Your time zone and overlap with US Central
