We are currently launching in three massive, high-demand verticals: construction, manufacturing, and healthcare, and we are looking for the founding team to execute this vision. The Opportunity This is not a standard engineering role. As a Founding Engineer, you will be working directly with the founder to build the Staff OS platform from early iteration to scale. You will own the architecture of our AI agent engine, designing systems that can simultaneously handle massive sourcing volume and high-fidelity voice/text interactions. What You Will Build The AI Engine: Architect and deploy the core logic for our text and voice agents, ensuring they can conduct human-like screening interviews. The Platform: Build a robust, scalable backend using Java SpringBoot and a high-performance frontend with React NextJS. The Infrastructure: Manage and scale our cloud infrastructure on AWS. The Fraud Filter: Develop proprietary algorithms to detect and eliminate application fraud (bots, fake profiles) in real-time. Who You Are A "0 to 1" Builder: You thrive in ambiguity and love the process of turning a whiteboard concept into a shipping product. Full-Stack Expert: You have deep production experience with Java SpringBoot and React NextJS. AI Curious: You have experience with (or a burning desire to master) LLM integrations, voice synthesis APIs, and agentic workflows. Product Minded: You don't just write code; you understand the business implications of your technical decisions, specifically regarding user experience and recruiter workflows. Requirements 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in Java SpringBoot, React NextJS, and AWS. Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL) specifically for handling candidate data. Bonus: Experience building in the HR Tech, ATS, or Recruiting space.
