Our mission is to make personal and professional growth measurable and meaningful. We partner with top global training organizations and support some of their largest Fortune 500 clients. Enterprise partners use Skillcraft as their evidence engine—linking competency models to measurable behavior change, sharper training focus, and proven revenue impact. The Role Skillcraft is seeking a creative technologist: a hybrid designer-engineer who blends narrative, interaction, and AI into immersive simulation experiences. You’ll work primarily in SvelteKit, TypeScript, and Tailwind, integrated with a Python backend. You will define how Skillcraft looks, feels, and behaves as a product; and build authoring systems that enable users to create meaningfully precise, contextualized, and immersive assessments. This is a remote-friendly role. What You’ll Own Front-End Craft: Architect high-quality UX in SvelteKit (or React/Next), Tailwind, component libraries, and/or animation frameworks. Storytelling Systems: Distill complex skill expositions into targeted, intentionally composed moments. AI-Driven Case Study Design: Build tools enabling non-technical users to create simulations using voice, video, and text. Authoring Efficiency: Compress the assessment creation process from 100 hours → 1 hour through modular templates, branching logic, and ingestion workflows. Rapid Prototyping: Move fast from storyboard → prototype → production. AI+UX R&D: Experiment with adaptive feedback, voice input, multimodal scoring, and emotion-responsive UI. Design Language Stewardship: Maintain and extend the Skillcraft design system, ensuring consistency and high-quality implementation. You Have: Fluency with a modern framework (SvelteKit preferred; React/Next acceptable), e.g. TypeScript, Tailwind, component-driven architecture. Strong aesthetic judgment; ability to produce cinematic UI. Experience integrating APIs, and dynamic state. Experience with voice/video tech, GenAI APIs, animation frameworks. You Might Be a Fit If: You care as much about how an interface feels as how it’s built. You think in systems but design with emotion. You want to shape a new category of simulation-based skill assessment. You thrive in fast loops: sketch & share → build → test → refine. You want ownership over product feel, interaction, and creative direction. Why Join: Build alongside the CEO and CTO in short creative loops. Define the future of skills validation & intelligence. Opportunity for early-stage equity and category-defining impact in skills intelligence. Thank you for taking the time to apply. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to welcoming you to the Skillcraft team.
