Founding AI Engineer | Early-Stage AI Startup | Remote, USA



I’m partnered with an early-stage AI startup building agentic systems for the energy and utility sector — developing real, production-grade AI that powers predictive operations and real-time optimization at scale.


We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help design, deploy, and scale AI-native services that sit at the core of their platform. You’ll work directly with the CTO in a small, high-performing team shipping breakthroughs in weeks, not quarters.


What You’ll Do:

• Build and deploy AI agents for predictive operations and optimization
• Own the full AI pipeline — ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation, deployment
• Integrate AI models with backend systems and enterprise data flows
• Drive performance, safety, and reliability in production environments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, security, and product teams


What They’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python + one of Go/Java
• Experience with LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and vector databases
• Strong cloud-native background (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on, fast-moving mindset — thrives in early-stage settings
