As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of bringing spatial AI to life for our enterprise customers. The Role We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering excellence and customer success. You'll work directly with business partners from our Beta Partnership Program, deploying Sophia and DocuMind solutions, solving complex integration challenges, and ensuring our customers realize measurable value from spatial AI. What You'll Do Help shape the product: Your field experience directly influences our roadmap Build relationships: Your partnerships today become our case studies and references tomorrow See the impact: Watch spatial AI transform how enterprises work, train, and operate What You Bring Required 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in customer-facing or deployment roles Full-stack proficiency: Backend (Node.js, Python), frontend (React/React Native), and database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, vector databases) AI/ML integration experience: Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG systems, embedding pipelines, or multimodal AI Systems integration skills: Experience connecting disparate systems via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines Strong communication: Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Experience with AR/VR/XR development or spatial computing platforms Background in manufacturing, healthcare, field service, or industrial workflows Familiarity with computer vision or 3D graphics Experience with enterprise software implementations including change management and user adoption Previous startup experience or comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Flexible PTO policy Remote Meaningful early-stage equity package We're looking for builders who are energized by the challenge of bringing cutting-edge AI to the physical world.
