Role Description In this role, you’ll design and scale backend systems in Go, shape production infrastructure, and help drive decisions at the highest levels of finance and policy. We’re looking for an engineer with at least 4+ years of experience, strong SQL skills, and a track record of building and maintaining production-grade systems. You should have proficiency in Golang or a similar strongly typed language (e.g., Java, Kotlin). Experience with Python, Graph DBs, Elasticsearch, ECS or Terraform is a plus. Additionally you will get a chance to interface directly with client technical teams to gain insight to their pain points using our product. From that you will own a backlog of work to improve: documentation, API structures and develop example client code in a variety of languages. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting Fluid ability to converse with a client to understand their needs Proficiency in software development and systems engineering Experience with integration and API development Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and remotely Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience in the compliance or financial sector is a plus Our technology stack includes: Languages: Golang, Python, React Databases: Postgres, Neo4j, Elastic Architecture: Service oriented on AWS (ECS, managed services) Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Grafana Data Platform: Databricks (for ML/DS work) As a core contributor, you’ll own your impact from shaping architecture to influencing product direction.
