In addition to a research pipeline including several investigational medicines, TG has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for BRIUMVI (ublituximab-xiiy) in the US and European Commission. Position: Works under the Senior DevOps Engineer, as part of the IT and Commercial IT group, contributing to the maintenance and development of backend systems in a pharmaceutical environment. Primary focus areas are Laravel/PHP applications, JavaScript integrations, and RESTful APIs. This is a junior-leaning role but features strong mentorship, learning, training, and growth opportunities for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance Laravel/PHP services and supporting components. Assist in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs. Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot defects, triage incidents, and contribute to root-cause analysis. Collaborate with front-end engineers, testing engineers, and stakeholders to deliver features. Follow secure coding practices and handle data responsibly. Monitor application health using logs/metrics; contribute to performance improvements. Participate in developer/tester meetings and maintain technical docs. Learn and apply best practices under mentorship from Senior Engineers. Uphold team standards for version control, CI/CD, and code quality. Qualifications: 2-4 years of software development experience (internships and projects considered). Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their application in real-world software solutions. Familiarity with PHP 8+ and the Laravel framework. Working knowledge of JavaScript (React, Node.js or browser) and modern tooling. Understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP, and JSON. Experience with relational databases. Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews). Basic knowledge of testing (unit/integration) and debugging. Nice-to-have: Docker/containers, CI/CD, cloud (AWS), Python. Team player, strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a remote team. Willing to work occasional nights or weekends.
