Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Data Engineer II role will play a critical role in supporting AI product and model development life cycle. This role will focus on understanding the objectives of the AI product and help build out the data needs with respect to the model training and tuning requirements. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building out the data acquisition, creation and delivery plan & process. Essential Functions: Lead the end-to-end AI data acquisition and curation program for AI Products and Model development. Analyze data requirements and build and manage the processes around data enrichment through annotation and labeling Establish and manage data quality process including defining success metrics definitions for the acquired data to ensure high-quality training datasets for supervised learning models. Collaborating with Product stake holders & data science teams to refine labeling standards and accuracy. Validate and synchronize high-volume data streams, ensuring integrity, consistency, and readiness for machine learning model training and evaluation. Provide real-time, triage guidance of AI technical issues across hardware, firmware, networking, and proprietary software layers to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system uptime. Serve as the primary technical liaison between engineering teams and field operations, translating system-level requirements into actionable field execution and feedback loops. Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related technical discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in system-level debugging and live issue resolution. Experience with setting up and managing processes and teams on the field. Proficiency in managing integrated hardware/software systems in real-time environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering and field teams. Preferred Requirements: Experience supporting data workloads for AI/ML workflows Familiarity with consumer technology platforms and data-driven product development. Prior experience in high-sensitivity or R&D environments involving real-time data collection and validation. Knowledge of data synchronization, signal processing, or embedded systems. Additional Requirements: This is a Remote USA position with potential for occasional travel to customer locations. Must be available for real-time system support, including off-hours or on-call availability as needed. Clearance or eligibility for access to sensitive data environments may be required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $78400.00 - $117600.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
