Summary
Seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer for a cloud platform modernization project within a fintech business. The role focuses on modernizing AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on security, compliance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
Modernize AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
Build and maintain secure Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Deploy and operate Kubernetes (EKS) platforms
Implement security best practices across cloud and CI/CD environments
Enforce IAM least-privilege, network segmentation, and secrets management
Support monitoring, logging, and auditability for production systems
Troubleshoot and stabilize cloud infrastructure
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
Proven experience with Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, networking, encryption)
Linux, Git, and scripting (Bash/Python)
Experience supporting regulated or high-availability systems
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech or regulated industries
AWS certification
Familiarity with security standards (e.g. SOC 2, PCI-DSS)
Helm or monitoring tools
