We’re hiring a Backend Python Developer with real ticketing industry experience to help complete and optimize the backend of TixIntel, a live B2B intel and pulling-service platform used by professional ticket brokers. This is a project-based role starting at $5,000+ per project, with potential for ongoing work and leadership opportunities. TixIntel is already operational and live — our core system and marketplace are built, but we’re now completing the backend optimization and automation phase. We’re looking for a developer who has already worked inside ticketing APIs, resale platforms, or inventory management systems and understands how to handle real-time, high-concurrency environments. You’ll be building the backend that brokers depend on daily — refining performance, tightening data integrity, and delivering speed at scale. If you’ve built or maintained backend systems for ticketing, resale, or real-time data markets, you’ll fit perfectly here. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years backend experience (Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI) Proven work in ticketing systems or resale marketplaces (required) Expertise with databases, high concurrency, and REST APIs Understanding of seat mapping, pricing models, and barcode validation How to Apply Text 2135769245 with the subject line: “Backend Python Developer – Ticketing Systems.” We will supply you with the 2nd step after initial chat. Your submission must include: Your Resume/CV and a brief introduction outlining your ticketing or resale marketplace experience. Examples of prior systems you’ve built or maintained, with links to live projects, GitHub repos, or architectural summaries (redacted details acceptable). A description of your role in those systems—what components you personally designed, built, or optimized. Technical documentation or diagrams that demonstrate your backend or API architecture approach (PDFs or screenshots acceptable). Two professional references from within the ticketing or related industries. Your current availability and preferred working structure (hours per week, milestone timelines, or ongoing contract preferences). Your standard project rates for engagements beyond the initial $5,000 milestone.
