We deliver data-driven insights, intuitive workflows, and powerful visualizations that empower HOAs, property managers, and financial planners to make informed decisions. Our platform is built as a multi-service system with a clear separation of concerns: • Core-API. Owns business logic, validation, calculations, and persistence • WebApp. Owns user workflows, data composition, template rendering, and request orchestration We are remote-first, AI-first, and work in an Agile SCRUM setup with a strong focus on clean architecture, long-term maintainability, and security. Position We are looking for a Backend Developer focused on WebApp integrations. This role is not about building domain logic in the Core-API. Instead, you will work in the backend layer of the WebApp, acting as the integration and orchestration layer between: • Core-API responses • Frontend templates and UI workflows • User input and API-ready JSON payloads You will ensure that complex API responses are transformed into frontend-friendly structures, and that user actions are translated into correct, validated API requests. Key responsibilities: • Implement backend services in the WebApp that: Consume Core-API endpoints, Normalize, enrich, and reshape API responses for template-based rendering, Assemble complex view models from multiple API calls • Translate user input from forms and workflows into validated JSON payloads expected by the Core-API • Handle backend-side data validation that is UI-specific, not business-rule specific • Manage orchestration logic for multi-step workflows, such as property setup, items management, cash flows, and report preparation • Maintain a clean separation between: Core business rules. Owned by Core-API, Presentation and workflow logic. Owned by WebApp backend • Define and evolve API contracts in collaboration with Core-API developers • Implement error handling, retries, and graceful degradation for API failures • Work with authentication context, tenant context, and permissions passed from Core-API • Write unit and integration tests for WebApp backend logic • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure backend responses match template needs • Contribute to documentation of data flows and integration patterns Your profile: • 2+ years of backend development experience • Strong experience with API consumption and integration, not only API creation • Solid understanding of data transformation and DTO / view-model patterns • Experience with FastAPI and Pydantic • Comfortable working with complex JSON structures • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and tenant context • Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code • Comfortable working in a remote, async team setup • Practical use of AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or ChatGPT to speed up development Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with template-based web applications • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS systems • Experience with frontend-backend contract design • Understanding of financial or reporting-heavy applications • Experience with i18n / l10n for multi-language applications • Exposure to Redis or caching patterns • Experience working in Agile SCRUM teams Why Join Us? • Small, agile team where your impact is immediate and visible • Flexible work environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement • 100% remote work – flexible hours • Opportunity to work on a high-impact SaaS product from the ground up Organizational Interlocks: • Executive team • R&D - Product • R&D - Development - Scrum Team Members
