Android Developer (Kotlin/Java) — Courial



Remote | Independent Contractor | India Based



Courial is looking for an experienced Android Developer to build and scale high-performance mobile apps powering our logistics platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows modern Android inside and out and ships clean, production-grade code.


Requirements

• Strong experience with Kotlin & Java
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern tooling
• Experience with MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData (Room a plus)
• Solid UI skills using Material Design and custom views
• Hands-on with REST APIs, Firebase (Auth, FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Experience with real-time features (Sockets)
• Comfortable using GitHub for collaboration and code reviews
• Familiarity with AI-powered dev tools for productivity and debugging
• Strong problem-solving skills


What You’ll Do

• Build, improve, and maintain Android applications end-to-end
• Implement clean, scalable, and testable code
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security
• Support app releases and updates on Google Play
