The platform provides data-driven insights for optimizing capital allocation in drug development and accelerates breakthrough therapies from pipeline to patient impact. The Role Join as a hands-on AI/ML Engineer working on production LLM systems, knowledge graphs, and machine learning infrastructure. You'll build scalable AI solutions that enable critical decision-making in pharmaceutical R&D and investment. This is a remote position with preference for candidates in the Northeast corridor. Responsibilities LLM Application Development: Build production-grade systems using frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph, implementing RAG architectures and knowledge graph integration for biomedical data AI Infrastructure: Develop clean APIs and services for ML applications with focus on maintainability and performance Data Pipeline Collaboration: Partner with data teams to optimize ingestion workflows and ensure data quality Rapid Prototyping: Work cross-functionally to iterate on AI solutions, moving from prototype to production deployment MLOps & Production Systems: Deploy and monitor models using modern MLOps practices (AWS ecosystem), ensuring scalability and reliability Innovation & Strategy: Identify high-impact AI/ML opportunities across the product suite Technical Growth: Stay current with emerging GenAI capabilities and healthcare ML applications Required Qualifications Technical Foundation: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field Demonstrated experience building and deploying ML/NLP models, particularly with LLMs and transformer architectures Hands-on work with LangChain or similar frameworks for building AI applications (Q&A systems, document processing, etc.) Strong Python programming skills with version control (Git) and CI/CD experience Experience with ETL processes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark) and workflow orchestration (Airflow) Cloud ML deployment experience (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure acceptable) plus containerization with Docker/Kubernetes Professional Skills: Analytical problem-solver with strong technical foundations Self-directed with ability to own projects end-to-end Effective communicator who can translate technical concepts for diverse audiences Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for building impactful products Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration Nice to Have: Background in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical technology What's In It For You Direct impact on drug development timelines and patient outcomes Opportunity to build foundational AI systems at a fast-growing company Remote-first culture with autonomy and flexibility Competitive compensation package including equity Mission-driven team solving complex technical challenges in healthcare
