AI Engineer (GenAI) - United States - Remote


Join a rapidly growing AI scale-up at the cutting edge of FinTech innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Generative AI professional to shape strategy, drive development of agentic solutions, and serve as the subject matter expert across the organization.


What You’ll Do:

Design and deliver scalable Generative AI solutions, from data preparation through deployment, powering both internal tools and client-facing products.
Build and optimize AI infrastructure for model serving, data processing, and embedding workflows.
Implement best practices in prompt engineering and model evaluation using frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Stay ahead of the curve by researching and applying emerging models, techniques, and tools to foster continuous innovation.
Partner with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into products and services.
Communicate AI strategies, insights, and benefits effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.


What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a Generative AI startup or product-driven environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
2+ years hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI; 5+ years overall development experience.
Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
Expertise across the AI/ML lifecycle: data prep, model development, deployment, observability, and iteration.
Deep knowledge of RAG patterns, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
Bonus: Experience with Graph RAG, multimodal AI, and AI-driven UX/UI design.
