The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the technical ability to bring designs to life through clean, efficient front-end code across a wide range of industries. This position allows you to work remotely with limited travel required. We are looking for experienced UI/UX Designer with Front-End Expertise. Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, engaging user interfaces Design interactive wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and performant front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or relevant frameworks) Develop web-based applications using the VueJS Leverage VueJS (Vue 3 Composition API), with legacy projects utilizing InertiaJS to work with Laravel Create reusable components to be implemented across entire applications Create and maintain documentation (inside source code and external documents) using best industry standards and practices Write clean, well designed, reusable code following KISS and DRY principles Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs Work with team to create consistant branding across applications and designs for use on website Collaborate using internal and client-facing online tools on a daily basis Design and build unit tests, and review and refactor legacy code as needed Communicate project status updates with clients and team members Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and front-end technologies Required Skills: Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design and front-end development work Proven Experience using Figma for design and prototyping Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing Proven experience and knowledge and proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte. Preferably Vue Proficiency in Git for version control, merging code, managing branches and releases Experience with authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), Session-based Authentication, and/or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs to build dynamic interfaces Demonstrable creativity, innovation, and ability to think outside the box Strong communication and time management skills, working within a team environment Strong learning aptitude and willing to learn new technologies Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related technical field Experience with Style Libraries such as Tailwind, UIKit, or Shadcn Experience with mobile app development frameworks like Swift, Flutter, or React Native, and maintaining legacy Ionic applications. Deep understanding of WCAG guidelines and experience implementing accessible UI components. Experience testing and debugging UI across multiple devices and browsers. Experience with using API services as well as utilizing Laravel as an API Experience with MySQL (including MariaDB), SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL (at least one) Experience with both Windows and Linux systems, able to develop and deploy to these environments.
