Leads decisions to achieve our strategic product goals. Demonstrates deep technical domain knowledge and ownership of multipleproduct features end-to-end. A key strategic player involved in maintenance of product features, including on call escalations, triaging and resolution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planningParticipate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debuggingWrite clean code to develop functional web applicationsAdvanced troubleshooting and debuggingPerform UI tests to optimize performanceLiaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new featuresManage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applicationsGather and address technical and design requirementsSet up and maintain environment configurations and monitor system healthBuild reusable code and libraries for future useProvide training and support to internal teamsEnhance development tools, test coverage, and/or code structureLead mentoring and technical support to junior engineersRespond promptly to on-call incidents, including troubleshooting and resolving critical disruptions to ensure minimal downtimeMaintain clear and proactive communication with customers and vendors to ensure a positive, collaborative relationshipExemplary self-sufficiency by independently managing tasks, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines, while adapting to new challenges without supervision.Establishing and maintaining development standards within the teamChampion an API-first approach software projects, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and extensibility.Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in software development, or a related field; or 6 years and an advanced degreeStrong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, with proven work experience as a full stack developerStrong experience working with modern Javascript frameworks like React and Angular, HTML, and CSSIn-depth understanding of the entire software development process (design, development and deployment) Experience developing and deploying applications for Cloud Native InfrastructureCollaborates effectively within the agile framework with a problem-solving attitude and willing to take a variety of approachesExcellent analytical and time management skills, with a proven ability to deliver value independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience providing technical inputProven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product teams, and wider organization initiativesProven experience in monitoring and supporting production systems, with proficiency in identifying and resolving issues, implementing proactive measures, and measurement tracking.Advanced experience optimizing system performance, including the ability to troubleshoot bottlenecks and implement performance improvementsAdvanced experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, coupled with caching mechanisms.
