Position Overview Actium Health is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining services, tools, and applications on a Generative AI Platform. You will work with stakeholders in a highly collaborative scrum team, delivering frequent updates and value to our customers. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI. Key Responsibilities Designing and building services and APIs to be leveraged by LLM agents Integrating disparate systems, using Python and similar technologies Building out technical infrastructure in Azure and other cloud services to meet the demands of a growing user base Designing and deploying our services infrastructure with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline Building batch and streaming data pipelines for rapid ingestion of data at healthcare scale Taking ownership over projects end to end, bringing them from vision to reality Working with product owners, from ideation and prototyping to the deployment and monitoring of a final product Establishing best practices for our codebase, building reusable, testable, scalable, and well documented code Working to develop our long-term technical vision Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of experience in back-end, infrastructure, or full-stack development Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare written material that communicates clearly and succinctly Development in Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++ Experience designing, building, and maintaining web services and web applications from scratch Preferred Qualifications This is a technical leadership role that will give you the opportunity to establish a core part of our company's technology. As such, the salary range for this position is $100,000-$200,000. The range of compensation for this role takes into account the variety of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to pay band placement, skillset, experience and training, licensure and certification, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. All compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
