Ideal candidates are programming magicians. They understand (and laugh at) the joke that says, “there 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don’t.” They dream in code and remember a time they awoke, went straight to their computer, and promptly coded the thing that had troubled them so much the day before. New programming languages are quickly mastered and they think in design patterns.



A senior software engineer is expected to be able to take a complex software development project from conception all of the way through release and into maintenance. Candidates should have a strong math background and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of design patterns, programming languages, and software development methodologies. For senior level engineers, it is desirable to have experience in writing proposals and capturing new business.



Candidates should have 10+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. Expected travel 20%
