About the position: The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications in alignment with business requirements and technical specifications. This role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. The Software Engineer is also expected to contribute to system architecture discussions, identify areas for improvement in existing systems, and support deployment and maintenance activities in production environments. Listed below is an outline of the major duties and responsibilities that you will be expected to perform in this role: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. Build defined features and write tests Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Review code changes to identify bugs and provide feedback Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineers, designers, product managers, and sometimes customers—to define requirements and unblock progress. Contribute to architectural decisions and help solve complex engineering problems using appropriate technologies. Stay updated on emerging technologies and advocate for best practices. Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of applications Required Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science or related technical field. A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in software development, or a related role. Experience building Web Applications using the following key technologies: ASP.Net 8 HTML/CSS Javascript C# SQL MS SQL Server Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with industry-standard software development processes and technologies (GitHub/Lab, Jira, SCRUM, etc.). Firm understanding of usability design principals. Preferred Additional Experience and Qualifications: Experience with SaaS product development. Experience with Azure CI/CD or deployment. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software.
