Full job description
We are actively hiring for a Software Engineer for our organization. This position is remote.

Hours: Monday to Friday,

Pay Range: $100k to $120k per year. Actual compensation within the range will depend on various factors including the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, the candidate will manage existing web applications and databases and create new software, systems, pages, and modules.

Proactively resolve issues in the project specification that will lead to a quality, high-performance, architecturally sound product
Write, test, and debug code that will add or upgrade the functionality of the existing codebase
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand their development needs and requirements
Coordinate releases amongst all stakeholders
Regularly inform the manager on the progress of the project, identifying risks early in the process
Collaborate with other developers to troubleshoot, debug, and provide general quality assurance
Demonstrate a self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources
Qualification

Degree in Computer Science
Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing environment, and/or promotional products
LAMP software stack administration
ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS Lambda
Experience with image manipulation software (Photoshop, GIMP, CorelDRAW)
In-depth knowledge of PHP
In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design practices
Strong background in HTML, CSS, AJAX, and RESTful programming
Proficient with jQuery, Docker and CI/CD
Experience with source-controlled development environment (GIT, Gitlab)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize
Self-motivated, independent, strong problem-solving skills
Quick learner
Linux shell scripting
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
