Software Engineer — Cantaloupe AI
Full-Time | Remote (US-Based Preferred)

Cantaloupe AI is the first instant voice interview and retention system built for hospitality. We're helping restaurants and hotels reduce turnover and find better-fit talent—starting with a single, 60-second voice interview.

We’re looking for a software engineer who loves fast-paced, user-focused work. You’ll help us build and scale our voice interview engine, internal dashboards, and applicant tracking system.

What You’ll Work On

Build front-end features in SvelteKit that are lightning fast and easy to use
Improve performance and stability of our backend (running on Fly.io, Postgres, and custom APIs)
Help design and scale tools that support thousands of interviews across restaurants and hotels
Ship, test, and deploy weekly — with autonomy and product ownership
You Might Be a Fit If You:

Have experience with Svelte, JS/TS, Postgres, and cloud deployment
Love clean, lightweight UX and performance optimization
Are scrappy, curious, and thrive in early-stage chaos
Enjoy working closely with product and customer teams to solve real-world problems fast
Bonus if you’ve worked on ATS tools, voice/audio apps, or high-volume data systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.32 - $24.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
