Title: Software Engineer – Python / Plaid Integration (Remote)
Type: Contract
Location: Remote

We’re seeking a Software Engineer with strong Python experience and deep familiarity with Plaid to support reconnection logic, implement integration patterns, and enhance banking data workflows. This role will focus on maintaining and extending existing Plaid integrations within a Python-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Rebuild and refine Plaid connection logic in a Python environment
Implement and optimize banking integration patterns
Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data connectivity across financial institutions
Collaborate with backend teams to align system behaviors with business goals
Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience with Plaid APIs in a Python environment
Strong understanding of authentication flows, token management, and data normalization
Ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing Plaid integrations
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a remote, agile team setting
Added Bonus: Exposure to Java-based systems and hybrid tech stacks

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $110,000.00 per hour
