Project Scope:

Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.



Roles/Responsibilities:

Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs.
Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
The candidate for this position should have significant experience working on large IT projects, particularly in application integrations with SailPoint IIQ and single sign-on with OKTA and Azure.
The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.
Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


Mandatory Skills:

1. 6 years of experience in Solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.

2. 6 years of ability to collaborate with the Architects, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, and others related to the SailPoint Identity IQ deployment plans.

3. 4 years of experience in SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and other configurations).

4. 4 years of experience with Okta single sign-on Integration

5. 4 years of ability to collaborate with the Architects, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, and others related to the SailPoint Identity IQ deployment plans

6. 4 years of experience in developing API services to handle access policies and access requests and integrate with external applications.



Desirable Skills:

1. 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

2. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

3. 2 years of experience working with Texas State Agency's


Other Requirements:

At least Three (3) client references from the past ten (10) years with the following details. The references must be from three (3) different clients.
