We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, build, and maintain REST APIs that power Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at extracting business logic, data structures, and visualization rules from legacy applications and re-engineering them into modern, scalable, and maintainable services. This role bridges traditional development with low-code platforms, ensuring critical business processes and insights are preserved while enabling faster, more flexible user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs to support Power Platform applications, including Power Apps and Power BI views. Analyze legacy application codebases to extract and document core business logic, workflows, and data relationships. Recreate visualizations, business rules, and data models in modern low-code solutions while maintaining functional integrity. Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Optimize API performance, security, and scalability for enterprise integration. Work with Azure services (e.g., Service Bus, Data Factory, Functions) to support data transformation and integration workflows. Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and data governance requirements. Provide technical documentation, diagrams, and knowledge transfer to cross-functional teams. Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar degree. 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on REST API design and implementation. Proficiency in Java, .NET, or similar back-end development languages. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate). Strong background in analyzing and re-engineering legacy systems. Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and data modeling. Knowledge of Azure cloud services and DevOps practices is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with low-code/no-code development approaches. Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API management). Prior work on large-scale modernization or migration projects.
