Full job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify store(s), integrating third-party apps and APIs, and ensuring an optimal user experience for both customers and administrators. Collaborating closely with senior management, you will play a vital role in all phases of e-commerce development, from conceptualization and design to rigorous testing and successful deployment, ensuring our online stores provide exceptional user experiences and drive business growth. Candidate must be proficient with Excel, CSV file setup including headers, products, descriptions, images and full understanding of products to pricing file integration in excess of 40,000 product SKU's. Additionally, candidate must be experience in Excel product and pricing file integration.

Key Responsibilities Front-End Development

Customize and optimize Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Build responsive, user-friendly web pages with a focus on performance and UX/UI design.
Implement design changes based on brand guidelines and A/B testing insights.
Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into functional e-commerce pages.
Back-End Development

Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and scripts using Shopify API (REST & GraphQL).
Set up automated workflows and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, fulfillment tools).
Handle Shopify Plus configurations, multi-store setups, and internationalization.
Ensure data accuracy and flow between Shopify and external systems (inventory, orders, customers).
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Shopify development (front-end and back-end).
Proficient in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js is a plus).
Experience with Shopify API, Shopify Plus, and third-party app integrations.
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Experience with headless Shopify or Hydrogen (bonus).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
