Ideal Candidate


Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and performant software and has experience building financial or accounting systems.


Has an enthusiasm to help define what AI can do to automate the back office for millions of online business owners.


You will


Work closely with our Design, Product, AI and Engineering teams to develop and implement complex financial features and systems.


Develop both frontend and backend functionality


Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.


We're looking for someone who


Has 3-10+ years of software engineering experience


Has past experience leading the development of complex financial or accounting features


Worked on products with great UI & UX and have an opinion on the difference between great & mediocre design


Has a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns


Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems


Bonus if you


Have experience of building their own startup or working as a founding engineer


Has experience with modern infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, etc)
