Full job description
We are looking for an experienced UI Developer to join our small team of senior professionals working on a new module for an existing B2B product.

What You'll Do

- Build complex Vue.js applications with sophisticated state management
- Can Implement buttery-smooth animations and micro-interactions that feel native
- Has internalized the Apple HIG
- Can translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, performant interfaces
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and Design Systems
- Can debug and optimize rendering performance
- Can bridge the gap between design and engineering, making both better
- Can collaborate closely with business + design team throughout the process

What We're Looking For

- Deep Vue.js expertise
- Expert Tailwind CSS skills (beyond copy-pasting from Tailwind UI)
- Figma proficiency
- Strong opinions about micro-interactions and the "feel" of an interface
- Can explain technical constraints clearly and suggest design alternatives
- Experience with performance profiling and debugging (Chrome DevTools ninja)
- Track record of building complex web apps that feel native-quality
- Agency experience preferred (fast-paced environment, need to be able to get up to speed from a firehose of info)
- Excellent collaboration skills and sense of humor

The Ideal Candidate

- Shows work early and often, not a "big reveal" person
- Has a craftsperson's attention to detail (yes, that 1px misalignment matters, 5 seconds)
- Happy to work independently but knows when to ask for help
- Gets genuinely excited about solving tricky UI problems

Details

- Duration: 6-8 week contract, lots of potential for follow-on projects
- Location: Remote (must work US time zones, core team is in Cali, customer is East Coast)
- Start: ASAP
