Job Description: UI Designer

Location: Remote – Pacific Time Zone (PST only)

Applicants must also have a bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of UI design experience, a valid U.S. tax reporting status, and residency in the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

Position Summary

Wishare Media Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our growing design team. This role focuses on the design of e-commerce websites and display (brand) websites, requiring a solid understanding of both UI and UX principles. You will work closely with branding, strategy, and development teams to deliver intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly digital experiences that align with business and client goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design high-fidelity UI layouts for e-commerce and display websites, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics

Translate wireframes, user flows, and business requirements into engaging UI solutions

Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and strategists to ensure designs are user-centric and technically feasible

Optimize designs for desktop and mobile experiences

Apply best practices in typography, layout, color, and interaction patterns

Contribute to design systems, style guides, and reusable components

Conduct basic UX research and usability checks where needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field

3+ years of experience in UI design, preferably with e-commerce or brand websites

Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (Figma preferred)

Solid understanding of UX fundamentals including user flows, information architecture, and responsive design

Strong visual design skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and developer handoff process

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Portfolio showcasing UI design work across different types of websites

Must have valid U.S. tax reporting eligibility (e.g., W-9 status)

Must be residing in the Pacific Time Zone (PST)
