Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer at OpenBorder, you'll lead key projects and shape the systems that support global shipping, tax compliance, and merchant services. You'll take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, mentor other engineers, and influence technical direction across the stack.

What You'll Do

Build and ship full product features with minimal support
Contribute to technical design of scalable systems
Write tested, documented code across backend and frontend services
Participate in code reviews and collaborate across the team
Work in our stack: Java, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, AWS, GCP

Requirements

What We're Looking For
Experience delivering features in a production environment
Strong fundamentals in software development
Familiarity with both backend and frontend systems
Emphasis on testing, documentation, and clean code
