Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing in-house development team. You’ll work on a range of impactful projects that power the compliance, billing, and auditing tools used by our healthcare clients. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment, using modern technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain reliable full-stack web applications across multiple domains of our platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful and scalable solutions. Participate and lead planning and software/solution design meetings. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of system architecture and code quality. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for both backend and frontend services. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with peers. Mentor other developers to help the continued growth of the team including pair programming and knowledge sharing and training sessions. Take ownership of features and improvements from planning through deployment. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to our platform. Our Technology Stack: Backend: Kotlin with MongoDB Django (Python) with PostgreSQL Frontend: React (JavaScript library for building user interfaces) Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, etc.) Heroku Celery (for background task processing) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience developing software, ideally across both frontend and backend systems. Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs. Proficiency with modern JavaScript and UI development using libraries like React. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL and MongoDB). Solid understanding of server-side development with Python, Kotlin, or a similar backend language. Exposure to cloud services (especially AWS) and scalable architecture patterns. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
