Summary

We’re hiring a Software Engineer – Tools & Data Integrations

We’re looking for a Software Engineer focused on Tools and Data Integrations to help build internal apps, scripts, and ETL processes that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. You’ll collaborate with internal operations, service delivery, and engineering teams to design efficient, scalable solutions that streamline workflows and back-office systems.

Note: This role is centered on back-office engineering, not customer-facing product development.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and hands-on experience, and should also be:

A powerful communicator who engages effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
A strategic thinker who can assess business needs and develop roadmaps for near-, mid-, and long-term goals
Prompt and professional, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time
Skilled in conducting project briefings and delivering comprehensive, well-structured solutions
Capable of executing in high-pressure environments with successful automation and integration implementations
Responsibilities

Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, MS SQL Server, and the .NET Framework
Build and manage ETL workflows to process, transform, and move data across internal systems
Create API integrations between internal and third-party platforms
Design dashboards and automated reports using Power BI
Optimize databases through indexing, performance tuning, and data modeling
Use GitHub for version control and collaborative development
Collaborate with internal service and operations teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
Implement security best practices across all developed solutions
Work within a Microsoft environment, including Azure, Microsoft 365 Services, and Windows Server
Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a leadership or mentoring role
Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Excel)
Experience automating operational workflows in service-based or IT organizations
Basic knowledge of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals
3+ years of experience scripting with PowerShell and managing MS SQL Server
2+ years of experience with API integrations and Git version control
Familiarity with the .NET Framework and an object-oriented programming language such as C#
Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and report creation
Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate across teams
Salary and Benefits:

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)
Benefits: 401(k) with company match, health and dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay eligibility
Work Schedule:

Full-time position with standard 8-hour shifts
On-call and occasional weekend availability may be required
Preference for candidates local to Irvine, CA; remote work is possible for the right candidate
