Full job description
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is focused primarily on backend development—building APIs and integrating with external systems—while still requiring proficiency across the full stack. You’ll report directly to the Director of Engineering and play a key role in shaping scalable, modern systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and containerized deployments while incorporating cutting-edge AI tools to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and integrations
Build and manage Dockerfiles and deployment processes
Proficiency with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
Apply sound engineering practices including testing, code reviews, and documentation
Work closely with product and design to deliver high-impact features
Stay ahead of trends in AI tooling and explore opportunities to incorporate them
Mentor junior developers and lead by example
Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
Proficiency with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
Comfortable with dependency injection and modular architecture
Hands-on experience writing and maintaining Docker-based deployments
Strong understanding of system architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integrations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Forward-thinking and curious about AI technologies and automation
Bonus Points

Experience with tRPC and Zod
Background in building AI agents or AI-driven workflows
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Experience with Elastic Search, MongoDB, Kafka
