ReminderMedia is seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our growing development team. This full-time, remote position plays a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based systems that support our suite of digital products. Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Software Developer will work across Firebase/Firestore and PHP/Laravel environments, translating business requirements into technical solutions, conducting code reviews, supporting peers, and contributing to the onboarding and training of new team members.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and developers, to understand project goals and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Break down business requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks for both cloud-based and server-side applications.
Design and develop scalable applications using Firebase services such as Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication, and Storage.
Build and maintain secure, real-time applications with support for offline functionality and seamless data synchronization.
Write and support server-side applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, ensuring performance, maintainability, and compatibility with existing systems.
Review code, mentor other developers, and provide technical guidance on best practices in cloud-native development, data modeling, and application security.
