Overview:

We’re seeking a technically skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and optimize Shopify stores for our clients. You will be responsible for developing responsive, high-performing eCommerce websites that are both visually appealing and functionally robust.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
Build custom Shopify apps or modify existing ones using the Shopify API and Admin SDK
Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, and APIs
Optimize performance, responsiveness, and mobile experience
Troubleshoot bugs and provide ongoing technical support
Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate mockups into functional stores
Implement tracking, analytics, and conversion optimization tools
Ensure SEO best practices and compliance with accessibility standards
Maintain version control using Git or similar tools
Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Shopify development
Strong understanding of Liquid templating language
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery
Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Familiarity with headless Shopify setups (optional but a plus)
Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
Ability to debug and resolve technical issues quickly
Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and time management skills
Nice to Have:

Experience with Shopify Plus
Familiarity with metafields, script editor, and Shopify Flow
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or automated deployment workflows
Prior experience working in an agency or with multiple Shopify projects
Tools We Use:

Shopify CLI, GitHub, Figma, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Slack, Trello (or similar PM tools)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
