Role Overview: Kilsar is seeking a talented and motivated QA Engineer to join our team and help us scale our web and mobile products (iOS and Android). In this role, you’ll own testing across platforms, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automated test suites while supporting manual testing where needed. This position is open to candidates ranging from mid- to senior-level experience. Responsibilities: Build and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile (iOS & Android) using Appium. Automate regression testing to significantly reduce manual testing cycles. Perform manual functional and exploratory testing for new features, edge cases, and releases. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitHub Actions) for reliable, fast deployments. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategy and ensure full coverage. Identify process improvements and help establish scalable QA workflows as the product grows. Requirements: US citizenship is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. 3+ years of QA engineering experience, covering automation and manual testing across web and mobile. Strong hands-on experience with Appium for automating both web and mobile applications. Proficient in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management. Ability to balance automated and manual testing based on release needs. Strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude, with the ability to own QA as the primary engineer. Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing Flutter applications specifically. Familiarity with API or performance testing tools. Prior experience at a fast-paced, scaling product company. Comfort with recommending tools and contributing to QA architecture decisions.
