Our platform combines courses, mentorship, and community to help founders succeed. We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who can ensure our platform is not just functional, but exceptionally reliable and trustworthy. The RoleWe need a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is an expert in modern testing practices and deeply passionate about quality. You will be a key player in safeguarding our user experience by enhancing and scaling our automated testing infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the confidence our founders have in our platform, ensuring it performs flawlessly as they build their businesses. This is more than writing test scripts; it's about taking ownership of our quality standards and elevating the reliability of our entire product. Key Responsibilities Expand and enhance our existing test automation framework using Playwright. Write, review, and maintain robust, non-flaky E2E test suites for new and existing features. Integrate and optimize automated test runs within our CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions) to provide fast, reliable feedback. Work closely with frontend and backend engineers to bake quality into the development process from the start. Analyze test results, identify quality trends, and champion initiatives to improve test coverage and framework reliability. Mentor other engineers (both QA and developers) on testing best practices and effective test creation. Technical Requirements 5+ years of QA automation experience. Expert-level proficiency with Playwright and its core concepts (locators, page object models, fixtures). Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript for writing clean and maintainable test code. Proven experience maintaining and scaling test suites within a CI/CD environment. Deep understanding of modern web application architecture (React, APIs) to write more effective tests. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (code reviews, pull requests). Nice to Have Experience testing React applications built with Next.js. Familiarity with GraphQL and testing GQL endpoints. Experience with visual regression testing tools (e.g., Percy, Chromatic). Knowledge of performance or load testing principles and tools (e.g., k6). Experience with accessibility (a11y) testing automation. What We're Looking For A deep-seated passion for ensuring user trust through product quality. A detective's eye for edge cases and an instinct for what might break. Someone who views testing as a collaborative effort, not a final gate. Pride in building resilient, reliable automation that developers can trust. Excellent communication skills; you can clearly articulate risk and impact to technical stakeholders. Test TaskAs part of our evaluation process, we'll ask you to complete a paid test task. You'll be given access to a small web application and tasked with writing a Playwright test suite to validate its functionality and identify specific issues, demonstrating your technical and strategic testing skills.
