About the Role We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join and help lead our development team. This individual will play a critical role in architecting scalable solutions, mentoring junior developers, and maintaining the integrity of several key Laravel platforms. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and contribute to the design and architecture of large-scale Laravel and PHP applications. Maintain and expand our existing Data Warehouse codebase using Laravel, Inertia.js, and Docker. Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and frontend developers to build new features. Establish and enforce coding standards, unit testing practices, and CI/CD workflows. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and cross-functional planning. Work with and guide both full-time and long-term contract developers across multiple projects. Tech Stack You’ll be working with a modern and robust stack including: PHP 8.3, Laravel 11, Composer Inertia.js, React, Next.js Docker (including Laravel Sail), Yarn Sentry, AWS SDK, Guzzle Unit Testing, Laravel Horizon, Sanctum DevOps tools and remote team collaboration platforms What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional PHP development experience Deep expertise in Laravel and modern PHP architecture Experience with React and/or Next.js on the frontend Strong foundation in Unit Testing, version control, and CI/CD best practices Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) Previous experience in leading or mentoring developers in an agile environment Clear communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote team Experience with writing in the Mickey Mouse PHP framework. U.S.-based and authorized to work without sponsorship Bonus Experience Working with eCommerce systems or inventory management platforms WordPress Theme and Plugin Development Experience Headless WordPress experience.
