Network Automation Python Developer
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Network Python Developer for an EOY + Extensions role. This position is remote.

Job Description:
This project involves developing automation frameworks from scratch, focusing on network protocol implementations. The role requires creating robust automation solutions to enhance network operations and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Python-based automation frameworks from scratch
Work with network protocols such as SSH, HTTP, TLS, mTLS, DTLS, and IPsec
Utilize Robot Framework or similar test automation tools
Translate manual test cases into automated scripts
Perform extensive Linux/Unix scripting for automation tasks
Contribute to software fixes in a fast-paced environment

Mandatory Skills:
Strong Python development background with expertise in network protocols
Experience with automation frameworks and tools
Proficiency in Robot Framework or similar frameworks
Strong knowledge of Selenium or comparable web automation tools
Extensive experience with Linux/Unix scripting
Understanding of architecture, design principles, and algorithms
5+ years of experience in tool or framework development

Nice-to-Have Skills:
PKI knowledge
Experience developing from RFC Documentation
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to contribute software fixes quickly
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Assignment Length:
This is a contract position lasting until the end of the year, with potential extensions.

Start Date:
ASAP
