RC4Vets is seeking a Senior Java backend developer specializing in microservices, has strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, along with experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures. This role is a remote role. Responsibilities: Proficient in building RESTful APIs, containerization (like Docker and Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, experience with databases, message brokers, and cloud platform. Working knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot for building standalone, production-ready applications, and Spring Cloud for microservices patterns. Design and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs for inter-service communication Work on continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins CI/CD or similar. 8 -10 years of core Java experience with strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Spring Framework & Spring Boot Expertise Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices, including understanding of concepts like service discovery, API Gateway, circuit breakers, and distributed tracing. RESTful API Design & Development Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Familiarity with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience deploying microservices in cloud environments. Proficiency with Oracle/SQL and their integration with microservices. Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication between services.
