WHAT YOU'LL DO: Vegamour is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer responsible for our general website development from user interface to database connections and server-side logic. This role will maintain the Shopify site, successful app integrations, GTM pixels & code and fraud prevention on Vegamour's e-commerce website focused on consumer products within the hair and scalp wellness categories. A solid understanding in front-end languages CSS, HTML, Shopify liquid and JavaScript is required. Experience with a backend language is also important, ideally PHP since we use it for our server-side logic. It's a plus if you're familiar with Shopify theme and app development, Shopify APIs and its usages. The preferred candidate should also be adaptable and capable of working in legacy codebases. The position works closely with the broader Digital team and will partner cross-functionally with other teams including CRM and Retention, Paid and Acquisition, Legal and Marketing. We are looking for someone who is motivated, proactive, and comfortable working within the entire development lifecycle, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices. This is a full-time position and can be remote within the continental US or Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA (2-3 days per week in-office). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Shopify Maintenance Maintain and optimize Shopify theme code to ensure the website functions smoothly and efficiently with minimal bugs or errors. Regularly update and troubleshoot the Shopify site to enhance performance and user experience. Assist with setup of new products, landing pages and promotions. Integrations Maintain and manage app and platform integrations to ensure seamless operation. Oversee subscription management and ensure successful implementation and functionality of subscription services through Recharge. Implement and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and pixel integrations to track and analyze site performance and marketing campaigns. Ensure accurate data collection and reporting through effective pixel management. Website Development & Support Develop and maintain API-based scripts to support various functionalities and integrations within Vegamour's e-commerce website. Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems. Implement backend fraud prevention measures, including Fraud Filter code built in PHP, to protect the site from fraudulent activities. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption. Manage vendor relationships as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 4 years of experience in eCommerce development and writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code Shopify front-end and back-end Expert knowledge and capability to support all plug-ins from a tech background Proven experience building internal processes on CMS platforms Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Knowledge of web development principles like cache, sessions, cookies and the DOM Solid grasp of full stack development principles (e.g. MVC, REST) Working knowledge of AJAX, webhooks and HTTP methods (PUT, POST, GET, DELETE) Strong preference for a background in subscription experience Strong preference for proficiency in Shopify Plus, PHP, React JS, Checkout extensibility/Checkout functions, SQL, SSH & server access control COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Base Salary Range: $160K - $200K.
