Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with solid experience in React and Ruby on Rails to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing the front-end and back-end of our platform, technical integrations, working on complex UI features, ensuring responsive design, and integrating with backend logic to deliver a seamless experience. This is a hands-on role where you'll directly contribute to the product’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-End Development: Build complex UI components using React, Redux, Webpack, and Sass, ensuring responsive, high-performance designs.
Back-End Development: Implement server-side logic using Ruby on Rails, work with relational databases (PostgreSQL), perform background processing, and optimize backend performance.
Feature Development: Consistently plan, prototype, and deliver complex features that enhance both UI and server-side interactions.
Legacy Code: Maintain, upgrade, and refactor existing Ruby on Rails code for better performance and scalability.
Testing & Quality: Write comprehensive tests for front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring 100% coverage of code delivered.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to align on feature delivery and technical specifications.
Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews and adhere to SignWell’s coding standards to ensure clean, maintainable code.
Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of full-stack development with Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and background/parallel processing.
Strong understanding of responsive design, HTML5, CSS, and Sass.
Experience maintaining and upgrading legacy code in a production environment.
Proficiency in testing frameworks and ensuring high-quality code through automated testing.
Skills:

Proven ability to deliver elegant, concise code through well-structured pull requests.
Excellent communication skills with experience working in remote teams.
Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps practices.
