Pay $120,000 - $140,000 a year   Full job description TIAG is now hiring a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to support our DoD customer in Fairfax, VA. This is a primarily remote position, but there is strong preference for candidates to live within commuting distance of the DC Metro region. The Senior Developer will have the responsibility to design, build, and support enterprise-grade software solutions within a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across the full software development lifecycle, combining backend expertise in .NET technologies with modern front-end development skills. This role requires strong collaboration with analysts and stakeholders, compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, and hands-on experience working within cloud-hosted military systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET Stack (.NET Framework and .NET Core), hosted on IIS, with SQL Server as the primary database. Build responsive, modern user interfaces leveraging Telerik Progress UI for ASP.NET AJAX, with readiness to support UI for Blazor. Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine requirements and propose technical solutions; serve as a subject matter expert during client discussions. Create and maintain automated unit tests using xUnit to support code quality and regression testing. Ensure software complies with DoD cybersecurity standards, including STIG requirements. Integrate and support COTS tools such as EasyQuery, RebEx SFTP Client, and NLog. Assist in the migration of legacy applications to .NET Core as part of modernization initiatives. Work within secure military cloud environments (e.g., STRATUS, ECMA), adhering to security and operational protocols. Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and best practices.
