Job Description: Sr. Front-End Engineer

At Qu you will:



Own the front-end architecture for the new PowerX web app, establishing patterns, tooling ,and component libraries in Vue 3/TypeScript
Implement responsive, mobile-first UIs that present real-time device data, analytics dashboards, and interactive HVAC/thermostat controls
Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs, defining clean, versioned interfaces and state-management strategy (Pinia/Redux)
Design and implement elegant, clean, high-performance software
Drive performance, accessibility, and test coverage goals; introduce lighthouse audits, code-splitting, and E2E tests
Mentor the junior engineers, collaborate daily with Product, Design, and QA
Take ownership of the products and features you are working on
What we're looking for:

6+ years JavaScript/TypeScript with 3+ years deep Vue (Composition API), Vue Router, Pinia/Vuex
Proven track record shipping responsive SaaS dashboards that stream or poll real-time data
Experienced writing clean code and using design patterns and frameworks
Experience building for Tablets and Mobile Devices
Comfortable building commercial, enterprise software in CI/CD environments
Hands-on experience integrating with AWS services (Cognito/SSO, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform)
Strong grasp of web performance optimization, unit/E2E testing (Vitest, Cypress/Playwright)
Comfortable working with and testing 3rd party APIs
Comfortable designing complex and large web systems
Experience building with React
