We are dedicated to building the next generation of intelligent work infrastructure. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems, writing efficient code, and implementing software solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, adhering to best practices in software development, and solving complex technical problems. The role involves participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving our engineering processes. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of full-time experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI startup (preferably Series A–C stage) Deep hands-on expertise with: JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), including advanced async/await patterns and functional programming Node.js (Express, NestJS, or custom-built service layers) React (with Hooks, state management via Redux, Zustand, or Recoil) PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS with complex query optimization experience REST and GraphQL APIs, including schema design and auth layers Demonstrated ownership of large-scale features (examples required in interview) Experience integrating with or deploying production-grade LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar Comfort working fully remote with async collaboration tools (Notion, Slack, Linear, Loom) Fluent in written and spoken English; must be able to write crisp technical documentation Preferred: Prior work in globally distributed teams across 2+ time zones Experience with authentication systems, rate limiting, or multi-tenant architecture Exposure to cloud-native infra: AWS Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, S3, Vercel Experience with OpenTelemetry, Sentry, or similar observability stacks Side project or GitHub repo demonstrating relevant skillsets BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related technical discipline Red Flags for This Role (we actively check for): No public code samples, open-source contributions, or recent commit history Generic answers about previous experience (we will ask for specific systems, metrics, teammates) Resume keywords copied directly from job description language Timezone inconsistencies or unexplained delays in live video scheduling Bonus Points Experience with AI/ML integration, OpenAI API, or LLM tooling Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, or observability stacks Interest in new tools like LangChain, Bun, or edge functions Prior experience building productivity or collaboration tools What We Offer Fully remote work environment (U.S. time zones preferred, flexible for global) Competitive salary: $165k–$225k USD, plus equity Quarterly offsites in global locations (optional but encouraged) Home office stipend and top-tier equipment Async-first team culture: freedom to work when you're most productive
