About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead our infrastructure and deployment initiatives. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions that enable our engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable applications. This is a hands-on, technical position where you will contribute to the strategy for infrastructure automation, champion best practices, and help shape the future of our DevOps culture. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture Design, build, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure in Azure and GCP. Lead cloud migrations, hybrid cloud solutions, and cost optimization initiatives. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi for repeatable, version-controlled deployments. CI/CD & Automation Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar) for fast, reliable delivery. Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management across multiple environments. Reduce manual operational work through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Observability & Reliability Build and maintain centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana). Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to ensure system reliability. Lead incident response and postmortems to identify and eliminate root causes. Security & Compliance Implement cloud security best practices: IAM policies, secrets management, network security, and vulnerability scanning. Work closely with compliance teams to meet SOC 2 requirements. Ensure security is baked into infrastructure and deployment pipelines (“shift-left security”). Collaboration & Leadership Partner with developers, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive knowledge-sharing across the team. Evaluate emerging tools and practices to improve DevOps maturity continuously.
