A successful candidate for this role is someone who enjoys creating tools to empower the broader engineering team to write reliable, robust, scalable, and maintainable code. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you recognize that communicating with people is as important as writing code. What You’ll Do: Take ownership of Terraform repositories to expand existing AWS infrastructure and implement new modules. Design and build CI/CD pipeline enhancements using industry leading tools and development standards. Operationalize our observability tools like Datadog and our alerting process to enable engineers, product, and support staff to identify and triage issues quickly. Collaborate with the engineering team to encourage scalable and fault-tolerant engineering practices using the tools that you’ve built and the shift left mindset. Identify and implement cloud cost savings across all Canoe infrastructure through tagging resources, using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances.
