Job Description: Runwise is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join one of the largest and fastest-growing energy tech companies in the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 80,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.As a Senior Backend End Engineer at Runwise you will be responsible for helping design, test, and implement the core software that both embed on our controls in 7500+ buildings and the serverless cloud infrastructure that process & analyze billions of data points coming in from these buildings.  you will have the opportunity to help a variety of property companies from large well known owners (like Related, Blackstone, Douglas Elliman, Lefrak) to individual co-ops and condos effectively run their heating, cooling, electric, and water systems more efficiently while making tenants more comfortable.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Being a core contributor to our core Golang app and infrastructure.
