Pay $130,000 - $140,000 a year Job type Full-time   Full job description Oracle Applications Software Developer-Remote Position Overview We are seeking Mid to Senior Level Oracle Applications Developer to support an FDA project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle APEX development, PL/SQL, and implementing complex business logic using Drools. You will work within a collaborative, Agile team environment to develop secure, scalable, and rules-driven web applications in compliance with federal standards.This role requires expertise developing, modernizing, and enhancing software platforms while following FDA Enterprise Performance Lifecycle V.2 (EPLC V2) processes and Agile development practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Oracle APEX and Drools. Implement dynamic business rule logic using Drools Rule Engine in a secure, scalable environment. Develop backend processes using PL/SQL, stored procedures, and packages. Collaborate with business analysts and functional leads to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Integrate with third-party systems and develop/consume REST and SOAP web services. Conduct unit testing, support QA testing, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure applications meet FISMA, FedRAMP, and 508 compliance standards where applicable. Maintain documentation for system architecture, business logic, and data flow. Provide regular status updates, support production deployments, and respond to incidents.
