Job Title: Senior .NET Full Stack Developer (8+ Years, Microsoft Certified)

Location: Primarily remote (NYC-local or East Coast preferred)
Type: W-2 or C2C | U.S. Citizens/Green Card Holders only
Client: New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE)

Position Summary

BlueSun Technologies is seeking a top-tier Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions for a public sector client. This is a mission-critical role with high visibility and strict compliance requirements — the ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise, up-to-date Microsoft certifications, and strong cloud-native development experience in the Microsoft ecosystem.

We are not looking for learners, career pivoters, or offshore developers. This role requires an immediate contributor with at least 8 years of experience in .NET enterprise development, modern DevOps practices, and Azure cloud services.

Experience & Certifications

8+ years of professional, hands-on software development experience with enterprise-level .NET applications
Active Microsoft/Azure certifications — such as:
AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
AZ-400: DevOps Engineer Expert
AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
PL-400: Power Platform Developer (preferred for CRM-integrated environments)
Proven full SDLC ownership: planning, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Technical Proficiency

Hands-on with latest versions of:
.NET Core / .NET 6+
ASP.NET (Web API & MVC)
SQL Server
JavaScript, jQuery
Angular (v12+), React.js
Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory
Kubernetes, Docker
Microservices Architecture
GitHub Actions or Jenkins CI/CD
CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce.com or Power Platform)
Compliance & Eligibility Requirements

You must meet all of the following to be eligible:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Must reside and work from the continental United States
Must be able to pass NYC DOE fingerprinting and background checks
Must be eligible for DOE PETS system entry
No offshore candidates, no H-1B, OPT, CPT, or visa transfers
No exceptions will be made — this is non-negotiable
Work Arrangement

Primarily remote
Must be willing to attend occasional onsite meetings in NYC (e.g., onboarding, compliance reviews, stakeholder demos)
No travel reimbursement provided — NYC-local or East Coast candidates strongly preferred
Responsibilities

Architect, code, and deploy cloud-native enterprise applications
Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
Integrate third-party platforms (Salesforce, Azure, etc.)
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of deployed services
Collaborate across cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices
